Jake has had some pretty bad diaper rash lately so i tried something that a friend recommended- I think it was Lindsey Woolard.
I let him sleep naked last night.... Now i know all the concerns crossed my mind too- like it will be too cold, he will pee all over himself and get cold. I thought about that and so i decided that it was bad enough to take this drastic measure. I put a nice warm top on him and socks so he was somewhat dressed. I also kept an area heater by his bed so it was definitely warm enough. Then i put a crib liner down with a thick towel on top. I also did not give him his nighttime milk- hoping that would keep him from peeing all night. It was a success- this morning he got in the shower with me for a quick rinse off just in case he did pee. His bottom looked 10x better. I just hope it stays that way...

poor little fella! I hope his buttocks is all better soon.

If you didn't beat him so much he wouldn't have a red bottom. :) :)

see ya!

Good, good, good! Sometimes "airing" it out does help. I'm sure it felt good to his little bottom.

Had my class today and loved it. Going back tomorrow for day 2. It was long and the 2nd speaker was kinda boring...but I learned alot!

Madeline also had one for over a week, we aired her out some, and tried several OTC creams/etc. but ended up getting a prescription ointment. It finally cleared up a couple of days ago. Poor little sweetie. Now she's sick and has cut a tooth. Life is rough for the little ones...

I like your new site design. Very cool.

There is a great script I write for my patients- called Vusion. It will cure any diaper rash. . . Might be worth thinking about it next time. However, I agree, air exposure helps a ton! Glad he is doing better.
